Frequently Requested Materials

Our frequent incoming material requests cover European DIN steels (S235JR, 35B2, X5CrNiCu17), American standard steel (SAE 1010/1020), aluminium 6061/2024, tool steel as well as engineering plastics PC/PVC. Submit your drawing and material requirements for our review.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Which stainless grade do I need?

303 for free machining, 304 for general corrosion resistance, 316/316L for washdown, marine and chloride environments. We quote all three.

  • Can you machine 316 without work hardening?

Yes — controlled feeds, sharp tooling and rigid setups keep 316 stable; tolerances hold at ±0.005 mm on critical features.

  • Do you provide material certificates?

Yes, mill certificates with heat numbers included with every order.

  • What finish options are available?

Passivation, electroless nickel, electropolish and bead blast — specified with a defined Ra so the process is unambiguous.
